I have went to a couple of these "meet ups" at edgewater and there has only been a few evos there when me and my friends go. Usually when I go the only thing I see are a bunch of kids hanging out next to there stock whatever blasting music, Once in awhile a group of high end italian sports cars, and bikers.

Next time any of you evos go let me know...

The meet ups are on every thursday in the Starbucks parking lot. Starbucks address:457 River Rd. Edgewater, NJ 07020. Edgewater is in northeast NJ next to the George Washington Bridge and across mid-town Manhattan.

I was warned by some evo-ny members these meets are shutdown. The cops said there would be no car clubs, hanging out, etc.-that they were cracking down and if you were not a real patron on one of the busnisesses that they would write you for loitering and whatever else they could write you for. Just giving you a heads up.

 

I've been to a couple of these meets, when TONS of cars would show up. It's when idiots (no names/groups mentioned) start doing stupid stuff and too many people with systems blasting their radios too loud do the cops shut it down. There was one time the cops just camped the lot and shouted at people through their loudspeakers to leave or stop loitering, but then like the next week or two, it started up again...might be the same now

 

last 2 weeks cops came and shut it down..

 

Only reason why is because some peoples just think their car is fast doing burn out and causing trouble for others.
