well not selling as in "i have a for sale sign"... but if someone makes me an offer i cant refuse, i might just part with it. i just feel its not the perfect daily driver for BK, NY.
i much rather get 335i. softer, quieter, easier to live with day to day.

It's not a car for either five boroughs. Long Island, yes. I'm used to it because before I got the car, I put myself already in the mindset that it's going to be an uncomfortable ride.

unfortunately that means little to me. all i need to know is whether its as quiet as a stock one, while still being a little less restrictive, so that it goes well with my 3 " straight pipes.

you do know that a lot of that noise is coming from 3" straight pipes...a CAT is not just for emissions it also deadens the sound..straight pipes are usually hella loud, your car will not be as quiet as stock with straight pipes..unless there are some crazy mufflers, but I doubt they will be less restrictive

The only way to get it quiet is if there's resonators on the testpipe. The Fujitsubo catback has two resonators itself and it as the Ultimate Racing tp. My friend's faster than me, but he said my Ti-C makes his car sound weak. The Fujitsubo's one of the quietest exhaust out there.

well I used to have just a straight pipe and muffler, and nothing else.
recently i tried a Megan resonated test-pipe, which everyone reassured me would make the exhaust quieter. it did NOTHING! in fact now i have added vibrations throughout the car.
so i need to stop experimenting and just go with something that really works. i dont wanna put the catalytic back on, but other than that, i wanna do anything possible to make the car quieter

I'm the one with the Fujitsubo RM01A, its a JDM exhaust, 1 piece. 2 resonators, 2.75 inches. The tip size is just about the same as the stock catback. I have a GT-Spec exhaust manifold, Invidia o2 housing, Invidia dp, UR test pipe, and it still sounds like stock. Let me know if you're interested.
