Im going to kill my car.

EVERYTIME I get out of my car... I look like the BIGGEST idiot of all time because the effing thing SHOCKS ME EVERYTIME I GO TO SHUT THE DOOR!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously... I'm getting mad about this haha. I always have to get out, opening the door with my feet, get out using NO HANDS then tap my door realllly fast to get the shock over and done with.. then I shut the door. I've tried using my arm, still shocks me. I've tried using my sleeve... shock goes right through the shirt, I even tried using my legs.... SHOCK STILL GOES THROUGH!!!!!

I'm ranting.. sorry for my rant haha

does this happen to anyone else?

EDIT: I just realized this doesnt make a lot of sense haha I was so aggravated when i wrote it lol

correction - Uh no sh*t it'll still shock my arm.. what makes the skin there diff from the skin on my hand?? same with the legs haha

not much help...but maybe something will work for you from here:
http://www.keikor.com/how-to-prevent-static-shock.html
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/in...3060959AAGMpRl

and
did you install a ground cable kit? Maybe that will help?

and

Make Your Own Anti-Static Spray (http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/A6378744)

Take an empty spray bottle (such as a window cleaner bottle) and pour in a small amount of fabric conditioner. Fill the bottle with water. The mixture should be about 30:1. Spray the car seats (furniture and/or carpets) and allow to dry. Reapply as necessary.

get yerself one of those anti-static wrist bands for computer installs btw dont EVER fill your gas w/o touching something metallic; getting yourself shocked, cuz if you dont, your static might burn the gas vapors and burn the living **** outta you.

Get some of those things that hang off the back of the car and drag on the ground behind your car to ground it.

It happens to me all the time, but the biggest ones are in my g/'s car. Do this: rather than touch the door with your finger, kind of lean up against it so the door touches your upper arm. It won't shock you nearly as bad.
