My subject is a little brash, but hopefully an eye catcher.

I used to love going out for an afternoon of twisties with friends on my motorcycle on wknds, but I don't ever see anyone post up about it here.

I can appreciate the local meetups to kick the tires, or the car shows to appreciate the show n shine, the drag strip or the highway roll-ons but that's not really what excites me about the EVO...the driving through the corners does! (staying in your lane at all times, same pace in the straights for everyone to catch up....no unneeded attention for sure. )

Is there any interest in a small group of us (<7 cars) getting together for an early morning run through the twisties to beat traffic?

There are tons of goods roads in the area I've learned about over the years through motorcycles, and I'd love to share them with a small group.

come with us some hill climb event . No cops and timed runs.

Cost is low compere to any other track event except autoX.

What is the cost to da paint job? (granted an HPDE will sand blast ur paint too but....)

 

I would love to this, but my car is not in the best shape.. I dont have a second gear..
But if you still need candidates, i will come then..

Either way, it's not a race, I'm sure u'd manage fine. Hopefully we'll get some more support and then I'll organize something.

So these are gravely tarmac roads? Public roads closed off for a few hours kind athing?

that sounds lke an awesome idea. all of us philly heads need to get together and cruise around somewhere, we just gotta find some twisting roads haha

 

There all paved roads and its 140 for a weekend and that includes lunch on sat and lunch on sunday. Its a blast man its everything you want to do on your local back roads only its legal! im hooked. i plan on doing every event. The next event is Burke in northern Vt june 13th 14th.

i'll be running Okemo and Burke this year, so as Mt Ascutney. Between July and September.
It is a great shake down for us before Rally
