I bought a season pass for creek last winter in the middle of the season for $240.

It lasted me from feburary 09 and it's good to the end of 2010. I think if I go there like, after work and one or 2 weekends a month, it averages out to like 10 bucks a pop.

Creek's ok for something close by but they only have 1 black run and it's a 2 minute run straight down the mountain that cuts straight through 2 trails. It's like trying to cross a 20 lane highway in rush hour.

My first snow ski experience I had was in UAE at the Emirate's mall indoor ski slope. I made it with no injuries. Wasn't the most skillful event but it was fun. Saw too many people face plant to attemp snow boarding.
