I think we should have Winter Domination or Cold Tire Domination included. And if someone could work in ***** like snow *****, that would do the job.

I find that when people feel that way that their instructor isn't doing his/her job. You really need to get a good solid event under your belt. This one we are planning will be fun and it's seat time but you should really plan for one in the summer heat.

there isn't a minimum, but its cheaper the more you buy. I'm figuring 40 shirts to be safe. I'll take exact sizes when we collect money but I figured it be good to have a few extra on hand.

Another thing I wanted to mention was that you can have two people register together and share a car to save money. You'll just need to work out who is running when. There will be a TON of track time, 6 hours in total and if we run two groups thats 3hrs per group which is likely more than you will be able to do. Two people splitting the cost would still net you 1.5hrs track time which is still more than what you get at a normal HPDE.

that is a lot of track time. are we thinking of doing 30 minute sessions or longer?

being a noob, i'm good with 30 minutes max. that's about all i can handle . but that also means that when we come in for the others to go out, we only have 30 minutes until we're back up again.

Right now Im planning on doing 25 min sessions. that will give a little 5 min window between the group coming off track and the group going on.

the every other session format is pretty brutal. I'd be surprised if anyone was capable of doing every session. It really is too much track time to handle. Maybe we can incoorporate that into our shirts.

EVO Domination @ NJMP - More track time than your ***** can handle.

Marc, remember the Metallica album "Metal Up Your ***"? I think we should do a play on the album cover for the tshirts.

In all honesty, lets worry about making this into reality and worry about t-shirts later. My thought is if we get 30-40 ppl that legitimately sign up, we need to break out into 3 groups; black/instructor, intermediate, and novice. Its highly like we will have more novices than advance drivers to help them out. I would not want anyone who needs some form of instruction not be able to get it. Lastly, entry fee MUST be non-refundable. That may not sound good, but it will guarantee a minimum amount of people to break even for Marc, or whoever will be responsible for this. This will at least get people to think twice about chiming in, but not actually signing up for the event and making it a bust for everyone.

I would second that notion Chu. Have to get the numbers worked out before anything.

Marc, have you talked to NJMP about this? I thought you said you placed a call, but I'm not sure?

Its not a hater post, nor is it aimed at anyone particularly. Its honest truth. There are organizations that take lost every year becasue they don't have enough entries to cover the cost. Lets assume for a moment 20 of us are saying yes, and everyone assumes it will cost them a certain amount. The event is organized, and 5 people pulled out a week before. Guess what, the 15 remaining now has to pay more. Whats worst, Marc, or whoever organize this, will be liabiable for the full cost regardless of what happens. My thought is to protect them, and anyone else who plans to get involved. Maybe this is too early to bring it up, but it should be considered.
