so, i've got a bby evo. yesterday in lansdale, i got pulled over coming off the turnpike for my tag tint cover, no third brake light, and have tinted windows. my front windows were actually down, i couldn't have had a nastier cop pull me over. anyways, i got a fix it ticket for all the above. i was wondering if any bby or eb evos would let me borrow their evo, and come with me to the police station so i can show them tha i 'fixed' my car? i've got $$. or i need a cop to sign off on the fix-it ticket, saying it's fixed. i live in the city, and i would probably get harassed or raped if my windows weren't tinted. the third brake light is missing cause the guy before me had the brake light in th OZ rally wing, and i put an evo wing on, so yeah. help would be so so greatly appreciated!

they probably wrote your VIN number down on the ticket and they will probably check the VIN when you go to the station for inspection to make sure its the same car, at least that is what the cop did to me when I got a fix it ticket in the same area.

Is the third brake light still in the car, or was it in the oz wing from the factory?

How dark are you windows?

 

i got it taken care of - i thought i had to have an official inspection station take care of it AND have a cop sign off on it. the inspection place took care of everything. it helps to know people. it just pisses me off cause my windows were down, and the whole time on the turnpike i'm getting cut off by all these asses, thinking about what a nice driver i am lol. i swear the cops just like to harass people, when they should have bigger fish to fry. from now on i make the right off the turnpike and avoid lansdale!

but yeah, the oz wing was from factory, and my windows are 15%
