BTW, when are you heading to the track? I guess w/ the mods you're doing you didn't care about a stock baseline....lol. I've been trying to pull off a 13.0 or 12.9 stock, but haven't been able to do it. I may give in and start modding myself.

Whats up bro?! My brother-in-law picks up a new Black STi tomarrow. Can you mod those things? I heard they're tempermental like my RX7.....That true or no? Be cool if we can all roll up to Cecil soon. I've got to get a clutch first!

 

We should definitely roll up to Cecil or Capitol. I've been to both w/ the STi. Is your brother-in-law local? Where's he getting it from? The STi's can be modded. Just can't do much beyond tbe, cai and fmic/tmic. Even then, when you remove the exhaust restrictions you get boost creep and fuel cut. Porting the wastegate helps w/ that though. Once engine mgmt comes out things will change. The ecu is just too damn smart.

 

Yes, he lives about a block from me in Abingdon. He's going nuts looking for mods. I told him to chill until turbo xs has the utec available.
