Anyone want powdercoating?

For everyone from jersey or NY or wherever for that matter, i have found a place right in my city that does powdercoating. i have to call tomorrow for specific details, but i was thinking if anyone would want to go half on a custom color or even if a few of us wanted to get the same color im sure we could get it much cheaper than individually. i was thinking some kind of metallic blue like the Modern Image lancer. Andrew, i know ur down for this, let me know. Im gonna call tomorrow and find out details.

I would be down if I weren't so broke. If I'm lucky and have some money to blow it's gonna be on a grill and motor mounts.

My poor Tein suspension has been delayed indefinitely.

Good lookin' out though.

alright guys i just got off the phone with a place in stanhope NJ, which is way out rt 80. the guy there quoted me a price of about 30 bux for the valve covers and probably about 50 per rim, if that's what you wanted to do. he is also in the process of making a bigger oven so if u wanted strut bars n stuff done, it would have to wait til about december. this guy seems real cool, it's a mom and pop operation. he said it usually takes him about a day to do and he would even pick the stuff up from me since his grandparents live right in newark. i dont know how soon you guys wanted to do this, but im sure he'll be there for a while. also, he's gonna be sending me a color chart thru the email, i'll try to post it here. if u wanna check out their shop or get in touch with them, their website is: http://www.geocities.com/merijons1949/

let me know who's down and when u'd be ready

HE ALSO SAID HE CAN COAT HEDDERS!!!! new powdercoat forumal was released this year that can take the heat from the hedder. if you want this he said it would be a little more expensive as it takes a few coats. iight im out.

EDIT: im also trying to get in touch with a few more people that are local so i'll keep u posted.

yea the website is right there on the last post...im not really feelin it anymore though. i think i found myself a guy who will do my valve cover for free. if you want, those guys out rt 80 are really nice and if you call them they'll have no problem talking to you. sorry but im just not interested in powder coating right now, i have other things i want to do first.

I do my own stuff if anyone is interested, unfortunetly can't do rims (too big), but I'v done a few DSM valve covers and a bunch of parts on my bike and my friends bike.

Yes they do make high temp paint, but I think it only comes in black.

E mail me (MarioVieira7@hotmail.com) if interested, I have a bunch of colors and hammertones, but can get just about any color.

I attached a pic of my bike, anything blue near the swingarm and heal guard I did myself.

Id like to find a place to paint my rims. Is there anywhere that can just add the red lip? Can it just be painted or has to be powdercoated?
