Evo's in Pittsburgh
 

Whats up guys ive had my apex silver evo for about 2 months now...i live in pittsburgh and ive only seen 1 other blue evo about a month ago with his t plate in the window...just wondering if theres anybody out there in or around pittsburgh with an evo....i really wanna find out why how many are around...theres an awesome road track about 30 minutes from me and it cost a fortune to rent...lets get together and rip off some killer laps...the road course is Beaver Run they have a website check it out...anyone near the area it would be sweet for us to get out there

I used to live in Washington, Pa. I drive there every once and a while. But I will come down to go to the track for a meet or something. :beer:

my boy has a blue evo with a small wing he just got a couple of weeks ago he lives in the south side. Not sure if thats the same one you saw, I think one of the guys from speed of sound has an evo too. I would be kickin it in pittsburgh with ya, but I like cali better :)

evo8ya, I'm in Pittsburgh, live in the south hills. I have a yellow evo with ultimate racing turbo back, hks rs intake, and a few other small mods.

EDIT: now many more mods. :D

I'm located 2hrs away north in Erie. I'd be willing to drive down to run on the track, but for the right price. $150 is way too steep. Keep me posted.

I live in Ambridge about 10 minutes down rt.65 from the burgh....i will keep everyone posted on meeting up and possibly renting the track i have a few other friends that would be willing to pitch in to lower our cost :headbang:

You should post another thread about renting beaverun, I'm sure some other non pittsburgh guys would be interested.

If you do a track rental, count me in. Any idea how much it costs?

Unless you have a ton of people, the cost will be more than 150 a person. It is cheaper to rent it during the week. You have to consider a few things besides track rental...corner workers and ambulance service...and maybe some type of insurance cost too. It is a great track, I have ridden my motorcycle on the track. 150 for a trackday is not a bad price, I would say it is average...at least for a bike. Last year they had an Octoberfest and I think they were letting people on the track for a cheaper price, just for promoting the place. Currently the track is 1.6 miles and they are working on another part that can be connected to it, making it a total of 4 miles.

Steve, i regularly attend track days now. If you would like to head for an autox or open lapping day let me know... i will most likely be going.

Also where in the south hills are you? I am currently in Mt. lebanon but will soon be moving as well as maybe selling the evo in favor of a project track car.

bump this up. I saw a blue by you heading out toward the airport from the fort pitt tunnels today as i was heading toward the tunnels.

I have also seen a white one in the south hills on banksville road.
