ak47po's install & dyno tune day
 

Recently we did some work for our own ak47po. He brought us some goodies like a gorgeous Tomei turbo, GSC cams, 1000cc injectors, mani, etc. Here are some pics of it in the shop under the knife. We also successfully dyno tuned his car right after and Andy has told us he is pleased with the results! nice looking evo...what are the numbers?

Well on 91 octane which is all i can get around here and 24 lbs of boost we got 341 hp and 314 ft lbs torque.We had to stop there because the stock bov started to leak over 24 lbs.Time for a new bov.

Will be interested to see what happens when the BOV is fixed.

just reviewing this again. What are you using for boost control? I am pretty surprised at how slow the spool is, i wonder if the tubular manifold is causing that.

Hallmen mbc,spool is insane i hit 24lbs @3800rpm,is it the mani maybe?

yeah prolly the mani. stock ported would have faster spool. But you might lose some top end - or not. Don't really know.

How does this dyno compare to others?

Lookin at the plot, hopefully when you get everything sorted out this turbo will pull well into the 7k's
