Someone MUST know who's car this was!!!
 

I bought a 03 viii from a guy in NJ, The guy had no idea what was done to the car, Nothing at all.
I can tell by whats done and been done to the car someone at one point in time knew what they were doing with this thing. Its a GSR body, 18" Volk GT-V wheels, IX SE interior, ACD, Mivec swap but HAD a viii engine harness,(curious why) IX turbo, TurboXS RFL bov, AMS intercooler, Some "custom" 3" exhaust, IX tails, IX dash sparco harness bar that wasnt installed, etc.

I just wanna know who's car this was. I wouldnt mind knowing some backround on it. I was told it had rods and pistons that was done by the people at top level, But stuck the camera down to the piston and it looked to be stock pistons. Dunno. Compression is 170 across the board. The car was also missing the front emblem intake and lip. I can also tell the car was in a very minor rear end accident on the passenger side rear quarter area toward the tail light. The car also at one point in time had aem on it. The whole car has been repainted, and it actually has clear! lol. It was also originally from Tampa, FL where it is now :)

Have you tried to contact Top level ? If they built it,I'm sure they will give you details on the car or at the very least Tell you who the old owner was....Good luck -

They aren't sure what's done to it. They just remember having the car about a year or so ago.

Well I've got a little detail on it, With it being from top level im sure they are from the tri state area....Im sure someone's friends friend will see this thread and chime in :lol:

Yeah I guess I have a area of where to start to look for the old owner. Curious why they got rid of it, And why they did a few things to the car like repaint it.(Not that I dont love having clear or anything lol)

That car was on CL for a while in NY....I was very close to purchasing it as well.....sorry but I don't know who's it was.

It would make sense. This car was GUTTED at one point in time. They even took the runners for the a/c out that go to the vents. Half the stuff in the car was just bolted in enough for it to stay together, When i say it was falling apart, I mean it! All it needed was a few bolts and some super glue, Good as new now.

yea that car was supposebly fully built by top level performance in ny and it was def crashed before in the side i was lookin in to gettin it
