Does anyone in tri-state area use 255/17 bfg r-1's ?

I had my rollbar made to handle the 245/17 track tires in the back seat.
Now I'm looking to move to 255's on a 8.5 rim.
I'd love to see if they fit thru the bar opening.
Can anyone help me,l can travel to you to see,thanks.
