Ice inside windows
To my fellow Northeast folks,
It's 19 degrees right now. It's going to be below freezing for a week or two. There has been ice inside my windows for days. I have no garage to thaw my car out. The ice melts when I drive, but refreezes overnight. What the f*@k can I do? I'm *this* close to trying to borrow a friend's garage, unhooking the battery, opening all four doors, and cranking up a space heater or something. I appreciate any advice. Thanks. DJ |
go get some dessicant bags from a warehouse or and electronics store
they will absorb the moisture when the ice melts (probably not all at one put the dessicant bags in the microwave to dry them out and reuse the big cloth bags work the best |
maybe a shippiing company would have them also

Never heard of it, but I'll look into it.

How about driving the car for about an hour while running the defroster? It activates the A/C to dehumidify the air. Leave the heater dial set pretty near full hot.
