I-908 is an initiative by the people to remove the requirement of a front license plate. Please pass this on to anyone and everyone!!

We need 290,000 signatures to get it on the Nov. 8th General Election ballot, and this is a statewide effort!

Please print the document on a two sided 11"x17" page (for it to count) and get as many signatures as possible and mail it into the adress shown on the document.

Let's get this on the ballot!!!

This MUST be printed on legal size 11x17" paper with the first page on the front and the second page printed on the back. If it is not followed by this procedure the signatures will not count!

I got 20 signatures last night at the SSSCC club meeting and I'm taking room for 100 signatures to the autox on Saturday in Yakima. Should be able to fill them.

I'm in. I printed this out yesterday and already had lots of people signing it. Doesn't make sense to have a front plate anyway. Plus we only get tabs for the rear. Anyway, I am down to help out with this one.

 

This is a great idea and it's now finally catching on in the NW. Peep in the South... FL for example, don't have front plates requirement, most have some customized front plates.

Removing front plate requirement will save precious resources and keep the front end of most car looking nice and clean, especially the EVO's. Good luck, I hope enough signatures are gathered and it passes. That's a lot of signatures to get something on the ballot.

I wonder why 11X17 because that is such a normal size paper we keep stacks of at home. They could make it a little harder by making it a 20X30 or 27.875 X 39.125 . Geez... sorry for the sarcasm.

 

Unfortunatly I can not sign the petition since I am not a resident of WA. I will however encourage you to send this post to other forums such as the Corvette, Porshe, Ferrari, and any other sports car that doesnt come stock with a front plate bracket. Just an idea. I would like to see this happen since I do have WA plates but I hate the fact that I have to have a front plate.
