Mountain Mtsubishi Rally

Before you get all crazy about this, let me explain. I was at the dealership and this idea was brought up to me by one of the sales managers. Basically the "rally" is this. Start at a pre determined point and get to the dealership. Before you say damn thats easy. Heres the twist. The route will have been driven at the legal speed limit prior to the event. The car that gets to the dealership closest to that time wins. Although this idea is in the preliminary stages the prize would be $1000.00 from Mitsubishi. Trying to gage interest in this idea so let me know what you think?

Hmmm...$1,000 I'll think about it. If it was more like $10,000 I'd do it.

I think we should talk Steve into having an Evo day at Mountain Mitsubishi where we could all hang out for a day. Bought my MR from Mountain and am referring Steve business from friends who are interested in purchasing evos. Lot of guys up here in Seattle want to buy Evos but don't want to go near Renton but have no idea where Mountain is. Would be good exposure for Steve since I am sure a lot of potential Evo drivers I am sure would show up that day.

Now is this cash money prize or like gift certificate prize. I'd be down if it was cash!

^ its a timed event. a road rally, so you have to drive the speed limit.

Think of it as bracket racing. If you get there too early, you lose. You arrive to late, you lose. If you get there the closest to the time that is specified in the rules, you win.

We don't really have to convince Steve... He would be down and Ryan and I have been talking about something like that with him for awhile now. I am thinking a BBQ sometime in late May or early June or something... We'll talk about it.

humm sounds interesting... well if Dave (maverickviii) decides he doesn't want the $1000, I will do it and tell him he lost out cause he didn't care about the money in the first place!
