Wtf!!!! 46,000 For A Ix Mr????
I have the original window sticker from dick hannah(not sure where that is) showing $9995 dealer markup for a total out the door of $40807 for my 03.
sad part is that I know the guy that originally bought it(owner of altaminiperformance.com in portland) paid full sticker for it.
SUCKER..................

btw, we are sitting in the bank 13 months after he bought the car signing the papers to sell it to me so that he can go buy a brand new vette and his buddy is telling him the whole time what a fool he is for selling the car for a vette. he wouldn't stop ******* his friend. evo had 836 miles on it when I took delivery(for over 15k less than he paid new and a clean carfax/all dealer records to boot).

KINDDA DAVID! IT TAKES OFF QUIKER THAT THE STOCK EVO 8 THAT IS FOR SURE
AGUESS YOUGONNA HAVE TO TEST DRIVE IT YOU SELF SO YOU CAN SEE WHAT IS ALL ABOUT!THE SOUND OF THE ENGINE I REALLY LIKE,I CAN IMAGINE THE IX WITH THE SAME MODS AS MY VIII PLUS DYNO FLASHED, THAT WOULD BE INTRESTING TO SEE AND FEEL.
they're just giving themselves room to negotiate from. You never pay full posted price unless you buy a saturn. You should be able to get if for MSRP on the actual sticker and just ignore the "market value adjustment". At valley in auburn last month they had an 05 RS there with the "market value adjustment" sticker in the window showing 32K IIRC. At the same time they had the invoice on the windshield for like 25k. Never pay MVA...

2) it's WAY over priced. I believe MSRP is only 36 or 38k
DO NOT pay 46k for it.

DUDE! GET OVER YOURSELF! I hate when people do crap like this. If you don't like it, don't read it!
$46K is way over sticker.
No need to be the first idiot to buy an MR. Wait a while so you can laugh at those that are paying way too much for a car that is not much different from the VIII.
I checked out the IXs today and the red is really sweet! I crunched the numbers, and if I can get a reasonable trade for my MR, I can get into an Evo IX RS for a little bit less per month in payment.
Now I'm trying to decide if a brand new Evo IX is worth jumping to an RS
I have 10,000 miles on my MR so a new car sounds great already haha
My impressions of the IXs:
The painted vortex generator looks terrible. At least on the silver MR they have. It does not match the body color closely enough.
Interior seats and fake carbon fiber look really good to me. The front looks cool too but it does tend to show that the intercooler is not centered in the cutout. Kind of wierd.
I like the new Enkei wheels, they look a lot better in person than on the pics I've seen. Lighter than the old stockers and not painted like the BBSes which I found easily collect paint chips.

Did not test drive. Just looked at the lot for a few minutes on break. They're almost just across the street from work.
The guys at Beaverton lost my business by not taking me seriously and being unwilling to budge on MSRP at the end of a model year with the IX coming out in a matter of weeks. I went and bought the car for a song at Hannah but was still dicked around a good amount. I just hate dealing with Satan for anything and would have given Jo a shot had I known about her at the time. Go check it out up at Mountain since she's offering
