front license plate bs

So my gf called me up b*tching about how she just got pulled over and a $101 ticket. It was for the front license plate not being on. I have no place to put it on my bumper unless I drill into it and drill into my cf. The cop passed her and then pulled a uturn just to pull her over. Anyways what should I do? Cant I just put it on take a picture and take it to court? I dont want to pay for this bs and dont want to mess up my front bumper.

He was also saying how my rear license plate has a blue tint to it. It came like that... You can also see the license plate clearly since our lights shine down upon it.

Thanks

Um, you have 2 choices, mount the plate or not. The law says you have to have one. It's not vague its not open for interpretation. So if you choose to not mount it you will have to pay the fine. Mass ( my home state is the same way ) I had mine on my dash so it was visable from the fornt and got a ticket. The law says the plate will be MOUNTED on the outside of the vehicle in the front forward of the hood. I payed my fine and pressed on. I was in the wrong.

Your choices are pretty simple, mount or not mount, but if you choose not to be ready for the consiquences of it.

As someone mentioned they may throw the ticket away if you come to court and the plate is mounted.

they should have given you lil green slip where you can take it to a inspecation station and have someone check it and then the ticket is dropped. fix it tickets at least. just zip tie it on right before you go then snip it off when you leave..just a idea

What does it matter if he bought it like that?? If you buy a car with shattered headlighst and tail lights do you not have to fix them because they came that way when you bought it??? WTF ??? Craziest logic I have ever heard.
