Brembo Peeling Repairs
I just got off the phone with Courtesy
in poulsbo about my backordered wing and I asked them about the peeling brembo's and the assist service manager told me he has changed them on other evo's and the
rep will be there on the 26th. If you need them changed call them to make an appt to get them changed out phone # (360) 394-2560.

I can't even begin to believe you are getting anywhere close to good service from Courtesy.

Their salesmen would often go out back on their lunch break to smoke pot and do 4 wheel burnouts on wet/soapy pavement with whatever Evo they had on their lot or some customer had brought in for service. My brother eventually got fed up with the job one day when a salesman threatened to have him fired if he didn't wash the salesman's personal vehicle for him.
I went to Courtesy Mitsubishi just this morning in hopes of having my misaligned front low-beams fixed. Currently my front right headlight points to the sky while my left headlight is about right. The service manager had to ask me FOUR times what car I drove. I repeatedly told him I drove an Evolution. He then proceeded to look out the glass doors at my Evo and a Mazda 3 parked in front of it, then asked me which car was mine. I was floored. The service manager then went into a little bragging session about how he drives a SLK230 and how it would smoke my car. He then asked me if I WANTED TO RACE. I told him that I didn't race and that my mom owned a SLK230 and they were pretty quick cars (they aren't, I was just being nice).
Finally he went outside to check out the problem. I explained to him multiple times what the problem was and he never really understood. He just started pushing on the outside of my headlight with his fingers hoping that would somehow fix it. When that didn't work, he walked over to my front left fender, grabbed underneath it above the wheel, and proceeded to pull it up in hopes that that would somehow fix the headlight. He suggested at this point that my frame was probably damaged and might need to be fixed. My car is brand new, 3 months old and hasn't seen an accident so I told him that was unlikely. Next, he went to the front of my car and asked if there were any modifications. I knew this was coming so I told him "No" with a smile on my face. He then asked if the car came with the stock hood. I couldn't believe it, he didn't even know what the stock hood on this car looked like. Finally he asked their "master mechanic" to come over and look at it. All he did was curse a bunch and say they would have to take my number and call me back since he had no idea how to fix the headlights. I told them to just forget it and I went on my way. They seemed pretty happy to see me go and to not have to work to fix my problem.
So anyway (man, that is a long post)...

Switch them out with someone who is under warranty, takes a little work but then you will be set.

I had no idea that the peeling calipers were covered under warranty! I figured the super smart person (a 45 year old fat lady funny enough) that had my Evo before me got the brakes done and the shop bled the brakes all over the caliper paint. I'm going in to have my headlight fixed (hopefully, we'll see...) on Wed so I'll try to get that taken care of as well. The bad thing is I only have about 400 miles left on my warranty so now or never
