Any ideas? I need tint, but have no idea who does good work around here. Any input would be great......

 

I've heard very good results from Prestige Window Tinting. Address: 2006 196th ST SW #104, Lynnwood, WA. Phone number is 425-712-8353. That's where I'll be taking my Evo this week to get a tint job. Lifetime warranty comes standard of course. They do all the tint jobs for Acura of Lynnwood, Lynnwood Honda, Biddle Chevrolet, and Carter Subaru as well. I'll let you know how my tint job turns out.

Roughly $200. One person I saw paid $175 for his IS350.

 

How much do they charge though... I know one place quoted me 260 for tint..

 

Ouch!! 260 is a lot. I paid 175 for mine with a front strip. Its too bad you weren't in Spokane, I could so hook you up with that. A friend of mine tints over there and he's awesome.

 

Accu tint in Bellevue is widely known to be the best. They are expensive, but they give you factory quality tint.

I paid extra to have them file down my window to meet the tint so i have NO gap at all, it is very impressive; people trip when they see it. I think it is called the "ambasedor" tint.

I have had so many people be like "how did you get 5% from the factory?"

Yeah definitely make sure you can get the factory edge (where there is no gap). Mine is the same way.

 

How Much did you pay @ Accutint?

 

At Prestige it was only $175 for a guy with an IS350 so I'm guessing roughly the same for our cars.

 

Just called prestige, they quoted me 230 + Tax....

dealer xpress in auburn. Talk to mino 150 lifetime warranty for the car in and out in 2 hours, ive had the tint for a year no bubbling. Tell him that Anthony sent you so you can get the price.

VTR? They actually do good work? I see so many riced out Hondas and Mitsus with huge VTR stickers that I've avoided that place like the plague.

 

Darkside on Lake City Way is where I go. Forget shaving the windows, the guy (can't remember his name) cuts the tint to the edge so it looks factory. I think this is their info (from Google):

If Prestige is the place that I am thinking of (they do Honda/Acura of Lynnwood, etc.) then IMO they suck. I took my last truck there and when it was done the windows were all scratched. They said it couldn't have been their shop so the scratches must have been there to begin with (I know they were not). They were also very strict re: illegal tint. This was a couple years ago so maybe it is a different place now.

*Edit - oh yeah, pricing was $200 or $250. Can't remember because I also took our SUV there which cost more.
