I believe even the people you're attempting to defend are saying STFU or GTFO. It may say Lancers United but it has to do with a NW meeting of Lancers; something you're not a part of. Rather than fan the flames some more and calling us b!tches and fu*kers, just leave. It's this type of crap that can make "us Evo owners" **** all over you. One thing you're realize very very quickly is that "us Evo owners" are sarcastic as hell and love to joke around with each other. 05r6 was just kidding around with you guys and some of you decided to take bait and turn this into a flame war.

Comparing the Lancer to the Evo is an apples to oranges comparison. We have a different chassis, drivetrain, engine, and numerous other things. I could care less if you could beat me in a straight line with your Lancer. I could care less if a 92 civic hatchback with a S/C on his K20A2 motor swap can beat me from a roll.

I would be more than happy to join you guys and have some fun. One thing about "us Evo owners" is we don't accept douche baggery. No racing amongst each other, burn outs, etc. Just a normal cruise, good food, and entertaining activities work. Hell, why don't you guys come out to the "Washington Meet and Greet" and hang out with us. It'll be a bunch of Evos, STis, RSXs, and Lancers if you guys decide to show up. andysoo8284.................................dude u are probley the only person in this forum that has made since since i have started this thread u no wat a while back i started a thread about all mitsu owners meeting up a guess wat it was good times there was no racing burnouts just a good time....evos,lancers,3000gt,eclipses we all had a good time it was freakin awsome.....h3ll im down to do that again but when i bring the idea up....no respones so i gve up alot of ppl dont take us lancer owners seariously........because we are non evo...........hell me and a few fellow lancer tuners rolled up on a group of evo owners one time in the area trying to share intersts and they were like get the hell out here........evos only.........i think thats why they is somestimes a slight hostility between the 2 worlds.....but thats just my out take one the whole thing.....

 

Man same old ****e of people hatin on Lancers, not everyone can afford an Evo. This isn't snobcars.net so chill. I drive my wife's Lancer Sportback sometimes and that bish is quick. Lancers are great cars.. and I'm sure there is a few lancers out there that can dominate a few of our tuned Evos. I tend to like the lancer owners over most of the Evo owners as most people think owning an evo gives you the right to have an ego the size of a highschool jock on steroids and I'm not intrested in arguing whos evo is better because they lack a personality to carry on an intresting conversation.

Yes there are quite few Evo "elitists" in this neighbourhood...they also all tend to hang together...hopefully by now you know how to tell em apart

 

all im saying it would be sick to have a local mitsu meet in the tacoma area every once in a while hell maybe even once a month.....thats all i really want to do......im tired of rolling up to a spot and its over ran by HONDAS that **** gets old.........i admit i used to have a crx but s#$% im tired of hondas man where is the mitsu crowd the mitsu support.......there seems to be a spilt in the mitsu crowd (ff vs. awd) its freakin lame we all need to come together on one common ground we are all better than hondas and thats all that matters just because i drive a lancer es, he drives a ralli art, and u drive an evo mean we all should hate each other, hell they all drive civics and accords, and lame a$$ preludes...all i ask lets stop this lame *** inhouse beef and support each at each others meets

 

True Sawgunner, but I have a few friends who have Hondas. So lets cut the bashin out completely. I'll admit I'm slightly racest about cars, but I only discriminate against SRT-4 Neons.

 

Turbo's get better gas mileage if you aren't boosting it.

 

Lancer guys Tune JUST FINE! And Take from a guy with 2 EVOs, I have seen ES Lancers beat an EVO. Just remember it is a big world out there!
