local shop hour quote?

Hey guys I got a time estimate on some work I am getting done and I am looking for your opinions. I don't do the work I just do the driving = ) so somtimes I get screwed on the shop side of things. I am getting Megan racing header, 02 housing, high flow cat, and cat back exhaust installed. They quoted me 5 hours of laber to get the job done. What do you guys think is this a good quote or padded?

ya that is kinda what I was thinking. I think you have to remove the radiator for the manifold replacement but not sure.

That does seem about right for the o2 and all the other parts. I just got a megan O2 housing installed Tuesday and it was supposed to be 3 hours, ended up being 6. The installer caused a pin hole leak in my oil line, he ended up having to replace it. While quotes for hours may seem good, it's best to just get a straight up price quote. I made that mistake with this install. They quoted me for 3 hours, but I forgot to ask how much. Luckily they had already given me that quote, otherwise I would've had to pay for 6 hrs.

And they did have to remove the radiator as well as the manifold, turbo and downpipe.

See westwerks in my sig, very reasonable and will for sure beat that price. Lots of evo guys on the eastside use them exclusively now for wrenching/maintenance. No one has a bad thing to say about them and customer satisfaction is 100%

Hey clos if you dont mind me asking what shop did you go to. Becuase I sure as hell dont want to go there if the installer that did your job works there.
