I have been noticed a lot more EVO here on Rock (Whidbey Island). Some believed we have to most EVO/population. I know of 4TB, 4GG, 3AS, 3WW, 2 BB and a red one. That's 17 EVOs in a small town of maybe 80,000. For the most part we all know each other, Just wondering if the rest of you are on here?

 

I think you mean 8,000 population right? I dont even think whidbey island has 80,000. None the less I think its the most populated Evo area as well.

 

Certainly holds the record for the most amount Evo HP per capita in the US.

 

I just bought an '05 TB last week. Has some stuff done to it already, but I can't tell if it has been chipped or not.... One of you guys think you can help me find that out??? Also need help with my Defi D A/F gauge, it isn't working at all....there are 5 wires
1. Red- 12v battery is good
2. Orange- 12v ignition is good (wasn't before)
3. Black- Ground
4. White- Illumination
5. Pink- O2 sensor ( is hooked up on exhaust side of the O2 connector under the spark plug cover to the white wire)

All the gauge will do is move from 17 to 10 when starting the car when it gets the ignition voltage, but after that it does nothing. I fixed the 12v ignition wire yesterday, and thought I may need to let the O2 sensor warm up before I see a reading but no glory...

Other mods that I can visibly see are HKS intake, hard UICP, aftermarket intercooler, HKS SSQV, Cusco Catch can, injen LICP, HKS TT, Greddy Profec-b spec II EBC, Defi D boost gauge, Defi D A/F gauge, lowering springs, and Volk CE28 black w/ polished lip.

wow...that's so cool. is whidbey a lot nicer now than before? when we left in 2001, they were building the new housing on top of the hill by skagit valley college. we used to live on the old ones there...the monopoly looking houses.

haha we meet by getting a text that says starbucks dot com its the evo call!! haha So did you buy the TB with the black wheels at karmart? If so I hope you got a deal on it. I rolled up in my evo and some dumb girl came out and I was like hey how much you guys looking for the 05 and shes like 32000 it has 5000 in the wheels alone i was like ummm thats way to high. Shes like man its an 05 MR I was just like ok shes dumb. Then i told her maybe 24 or 25 max is what you should be getting for the car haha. Then she tried to sell it to me and i was like I just put down 431 hp.. I dont need it. Anyways. Ill be back in 2 weeks Cooterkisser we should start getting your car ready for the mods. I do lots of work haha. Im pissed there is another TB in the area though HAHA im jk

Yeah I got it at karmart.... I don't wanna do too much more to it. I think it may be flashed, but I don't know. If not then I may get it flashed, and put a AEM UEGO in in and that is about it. I got hastled enough with my old car. It sucks cause I had to pay a little more than I wanted to cause I traded my old car in on it, and I had a bit of negative equity, so I didn't have much bargaining room. I was just tired of messing with my old car, an it had been hit 3 times last year, and the paint shop botched the paint job twice, and I wasn't going to pay them to do it again. That damn car was cursed. I just wanted to start off fresh and I have wanted an EVO for a while so I didn't mind... it already has a good bit done to it, and actually some of the same things that I would have used had I bought a brand new one. By the way my name is Freddie, so you guys know.

Give me a rundown of your mods and I will tell you what kind of power we can get you out of a good jestr e-flash.

No need for a hotel however there are hotels in the area lol.

Whatever we are going to do we need to set dates. At the moment I have adrian coming up (gotsushiracing) Doing his installs on the 20th I gotta do my headgasket before then. Oh some of you dont know. My meth pump stopped working.... yeah it pumped as in turned over so I got the green light all day long but no meth came out so running 28 psi without meth... you get the picture. It actually isnt that bad. I mean im pushing coolant slowly. After I get on it (with the meth pump working now) I can go check the coolant res and its filled up more than it should be. DOne alot of testing all the testing comes back negative however its only under boost that the combustion is escaping and going into the cooling system. So as soon as I get home im going to tear that down and fix it. Should only take a little bit Anyways Let me know hwat you want to do andy
