Do educate me on this aspect... how does being deaf result in poor grammar? You can still read. I have a fellow coworker who's deaf and her grammar is impeccable. I'm not seeing the connection here.

Its there loss. You're a hella cool guy and I could tell that just from the short time we talked at the meet and than from talkin on AIM. If figures though that DSM'ers would be ones to be this way. They tend to be quite immature. I really actually have no good way of explaining them. just know they are asses 90% of the time.

 

I think its even more difficult as I believe that English isn't even primarily your language, if I remember correctly.

And honestly Chris, you do really good work with the stuff I have seen thus far. The guage pod in your dash looks just like something you could buy off the shelf, I was really impressed. When I finally have bank and I buy Defi's, I'll look to you for the pod to be manufactured.

Oh ok, well I'm cool with the fact that his grammar's not great if English isn't his first language. It just seemed a bit misleading that he was blaming it solely on being hearing impaired.

 

Correct. Deaf had their First language is ASL (American Sign Languages) 2nd is English..

but some Deaf are good at English some dont. it take a time to think to edit and add verbs, nouns and adj.. u know

 

just seperate the BS from friends. Its all good after that!!!

 

my gf is slowly teaching me sign language... i think it's pretty cool...

You are OK man, no one will mess around with you on this forum. If you really want to address the grammar issue don't go any further, I am indeed one of the top worst writers on this forum, I consistently make grammar mistakes because english is not my first language.

This is something that everyone knows from me because I am a foreigner but we are thousands of foreigners on this forum and even native americans that grew up learning english can't even write right so don't stress it out too much. This forum is cool on that and the moderators are doing a heck of a job on that matter.

Unfortunately you have misinterpreted my post in another forum. There was nothing malicious whatsoever said about you being deaf. It was a simple question out of curiosity based on a statement you made, that is all.

 

The only people that proclaim they're short are the ones that are gargantuan. Like my state trooper friend that's 6'7 and tells people he's short.
