EVO for $1000 over invoice at Dick Hannah
Well, I finally test drove an EVO. Wow!
So I told them from the start I'm very interested in buying one, but won't be able to buy until August. But of course they tried to pressure me anyway, which is fine 'cause I figure that's a fair tradeoff for letting me test drive it. Anyway, they offered to sell for "$1000 over dealer's cost." Take that for what it's worth. I didn't actually get a price quote, so I don't know if that really means $1000 over invoice, but it sure sounds like it.

I got a chance to step behind the wheel of Dick Hannah's Yellow Evo today. Great experience, the car really comes alive in high rpm. Was talkin with Josh Kampmann, cool guy.
They have a 10k markup.
Ridiculous....The car is great but its not necessary to buy it for 10k more than the car is worth. How can you justify charging that much more for a car when we have NW members buying the evo for 30,500? Jump forward 6 months. I highly doubt many dealers will be able to sell for more than MSRP.
Oh on an end note we left it at $33,800 from a listing of $30,800 MSRP. He might have been able to split the difference between the 2 numbers but even the MSRP listing is a bit high.

32k. A bit over MSRP but there is no one in Oregon or washington within 75 miles that will sell for MSRP so I had to suck it up. Its amazing that they think they can charge 40k for this car. Its a hell of a nice car but its by no means a 40k car.

I bought my white Evo from Dick Hannah. $29k. They are somewhat pushy, but hey got a good deal on my trade in. They gave my 12K for my eclipse. (wish I knew how to add a pic)

I was treated real fine by Shaun (Shawn SP?) at Premier Mitsubishi. I didn't purchase the Evo because they weren't allowing test-drives until some "green" was down. But, as far a price, we were negotiating and got to under $29K went I left. I wanted to see a Blue Evo but no such luck. Premier got some more Evo's in but no Blue. I counted a total of 11 Evo's on their lot last week. They have a white one with the low-profile spoiler like an OZ has. I like it.... Maybe the police wouldn't motice the car as much that way? Still haven't purchased and Evo yet.
Dick Hannah *had* a blue one, in fact they had all the colors when I bought mine. Im not sure if they have any more there. They had one, a yellow one, with a few goodies. The cluster gauge's in center compartment. (which is such a stupid place) and the little flares on the front body. Which I think the gauges were another 700 to price and the fender things were like another 400 or so, what a rip off.
