Yet another RREV testimonial!

I know this is somewhat of a redundant thread, as others have posted about their good experiences at RRev, but I just thought I'd toss mine up too real quickly. A little while back I had a lot of work done at RRev, and everyone there did a great job. Due to another shop working on my car and messing it up (long story for another day), my car needed some motor work, all of which was done nicely at RRev, and then I went ahead and picked up a 50-trim and had them install that as well. With the car tuned on pump gas & methanol, it is making 439 WHP and around 410 torque @ the wheels. I know that's nothing in comparison to some huge turbo Evos that are on the quest to run in the 8s at the drags, but considering this is my daily driver, I think that's enough for now!

After the meth tune I took the car out to the PIR drags and trapped 122 mph, so I know the car can probably do mid/low 11s if I drive it hard enough. I was a complete wuss though and only ran an 11.8 @ 120 due to my terrible launch (1.9 60' time).

As mentioned in the other threads, we're really lucky to have a tuner like John Reed in our area. People who aren't local might have to pay for airfare and/or take a long trip into the Portland area to make use of his tuning, so it's real nice to avoid those encumbrances and just take the short drive to their shop.

Whether you've got a race car or a car you drive every day, you can't go wrong with having your work done at RRev. Way to go guys, and thanks again for everything, the car is an absolute blast to drive!

Yeah, the RNR kit... It's alright, I got it for really cheap from a guy that I knew who was parting out his Evo in order to sell, but if I had to do it again I'd probably go for one of the new ETS kits, as they look much nicer.

I may run the car in the next few weeks, I'd really like to get the car down in the low 11s where it belongs
