Yea what I was trying to say was basically what Billy said. For you at your power level Quaife is a waste of money really. The stock differential is VERY strong if treated right in the IX's.

It also seems that most the trannies you rebuilt for Chevy auto's which are fairly easy to rebuild. I would just pay Lucas to do it right the first time and save yourself a headache. Also you mentioned something about a friend with an MR. Make sure you get a 5sp case because they are different.

I am sure there are plenty of people on here that would be happy to lend a helping hand also if you get stuck.

i know.. im get 5 speed. that why i told friend nah for 6speed.. that waste money for MR..

Acutally 350 Turbo and 400 automatic is easy!..
i did rebuild 69 camaro 4 speed muchie, and 72 Chevelle malibu swap to 5 speed..

im going try anywhat... it not hurt to try... i never get angry or frustrant... i enjoy challage myself and hand on...

when i race and blew tcase.. im not angry.. i was laugh and i knew risk to drag and break something..

I actually try to open tranny and swap center diffrential and seal up and put back.. im not overhaul whole tranny gears n schyro... just swap center diffrential or find me a used tranny...

yeah alot people are helping with me..
Billy, Jay, ramses, you everyone.. i learn alot..

even i talk to lucas about tranny and tips.. he the man.. im appricate for Lucas help and tips to me..

I seriously doubt that 800 RPM was the difference between life and death on your transfer case. AWD cars especially, sidestepping the clutch when everything isn't already wound up is going to destroy it guaranteed eventually. Torque applied to a loose/static drivetrain, something has to give.

actaully many they say dump it at 6300 is shock drivetrans.. and didnt slip clutch to less shocked.. and 5500 is harmless and 6300 is more power.. also track is sticky too and warm.. maybe my tires are sticky to tranck and bam transfer case
