English Racing Tune for HPDE
Did an Alfa Lapping day at PR last Thursday. I have a GG IX SE, English Racing installed the Cobb TBE/HFC and Forge MBC, and Aaron tuned it for 23 psi on pump gas.
The car ran great, obviously a lot more torque/hp than stock. No flashing CEL (knock), misfires, or weirdness in the torque curve. And I got 9.5 mpg, up from about 7 mpg (!) stock
No signs of overheating or heat soak, oil temp stabilized at about 240 deg (air temp was about 80 deg at the track). It is amazing how the car accelerates out of the corners compared to similar hp 2WD cars. Seems like cheating but I rationalize that its just making up for my less than stellar skills as a driver!
I asked for a solid, robust tune suitable for street & track and thats exactly what I got. Very satisfying!

Word. I was planning on coming to that Alfa day - but that was back in July when I was still optimistic on my time-line for finishing the engine. Looks like next year for me. But I plan on being at lots of track days.
