Poker Run BBQ

Ok so me and alli have been planning and picking our brains(not our noses!) to find a spot to have the end of poker run bbq. SO we decided that we are having it on Saturday, the 20th at 5.00pm and it is at either rooster rock or benson state park. We will post later about which park its at....:-) Hope to have a good turnout...:-) Lots o love~Bethany (and Alli)

If you have a preference of park tell us....it is changable...:-)

Rooster Rock sounds like a good place to have it, especially since the run will be ending there. Unfortunately, Marisa can't make it to this one either. She had plans change on her at the last minute.

As for stuff to bring, I feel inspired by Brian and Sonny's rib's and steak idea, so y'all wanna pitch in on that? We can just start up a list of what to bring and check things off as people sign up for them.

mmmmmmmmmmm ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh steeeaaaaak..... When you live in a house surrounded by vegetarians, any chance to chow down on real meat needs to be taken. Post up a list and I'll help out.

EDIT: HA... i just had an excellent idea... I'll bring a watermelon. Although you'll have to show me your ID before you have any!

Just bringing myself so far, not sure about any of my friends. Im sure people will be at my house, just not sure if any of them will want to come along.

Lets get a body count to see how much stuff we should plan on getting.

This is an idea list.

Baby Back Ribs
BBQ sauce
1 small box Brown Sugar
Corn on the Cob
*drinks
chips... or possibly potato salad or a type of salad
2 rolls paper towels
1 Bag of Ice
Water for cleaning hands & drinking

*=so what exactly is allowed, does anyone know?

Ok so rooster rock it is. And meat sounds like a killer idea. Im comming and brining beth and meagan. We will bring some type of vegi meal for them and ill bring katsup, mustard, papertowls, drinks, ice, and holla if anything else is needed. As for meat do you just want us to give you money there? or are we bringing our own? Im going to call and ask about drinks and ill let you all know.

And as for nude her you go:
It's even more natural the further east you go at Rooster Rock (where you’ll find one of Oregon’s two designated nude beaches). By design, the nude beach area is completely separate and not visible from the clothing-required area of the large park. The two areas coexist in harmony.

I just spoke with the wife, I think she is down. I was just wondering if there was going to be a big downtime between the end of the run and the bbq. It doesn't sound like it though. I think we are going to say we are in right now.

Guys, Marisa is pretty adamant about us not having the bbq at Rooster Rock without her. Seems that she's super jealous, now that this will be her 3rd bbq in a row that she's missed and she really wants to come to the one at Rooster Rock. I guess we can always have our next one there also, but yeah, she's begging that the bbq be held elsewhere and we have the next bbq at Rooster Rock.

well for role call purposes I'm bringing one friend along and since I'm coming from so far away, I pitch in on non-perishable iteams. I'll bring a case o pop and a case o beer if it's allowed! Post any preferences soon or else I'll get nasty stuff like diet mountaindew code red or something like Red Dog beer
