She can take a hit!!

Hi all,

On Sept 15th of last year I was t-boned on the passenger side. I've been driving the car for a couple of months since it's been repaired and can tell you that there are no creaks, wind whistles, or weird handling gremlins.

Below are accident pics so that you can see the damage for yourself. Mostly to the doors which were replaced with new factory units. Body gaps are even on both sides of the car. No contact was made to the wheels or suspension of the car during the accident.

The car has been meticulously restored by RNR Auto in Bellevue. Nothing was "fixed" in the sense that everything that was damaged was replaced. The rear 3/4 panel and B pillar were replaced with new factory pieces and re-welded at the factory weld points. There was no damage to the floor or roof of the car and the frame is straight and well within factory specs.

These cars may be heavy but they can take a pretty good hit and bounce back.

Oh, I'm thinking of selling her and getting an e60 M5 so please take look at my FS ad.

Mahalos!

I want something a little larger and more "mature" and the '06 M5s are coming down in price where I can get one for less than either of the 2 cars you mentioned.

I didn't realise it was that 4 way stop where you got hit....i thought it was the other one. IN any case the amount of time i've seen people almost get hit there is crazy.

Anyway glad you got her back together now
