Well, the estimate on my evo repair went up to a little over 17k!!! Couldn't live without something with some power, so we traded in my wife's car for this:

Feels fast and very responsive in S mode. Overall it could never replace the Evo, but it'll have to do for another week or so.

For sure, most of the parts are at the shop with my car, just waiting on a few more pieces and they'll start putting her back together. It wasn't that bad, but the shop did a good job on finding little dings on things and made sure to get them on the estimate. Big propt to Bel-Kirk and Tyler, glad I took it there!!!
Sick! R32 is a very fun and good little car. Nice job on choosing that one! AWD and turbo FTW
Caesar, good luck on your car's rebuild. It would be much more awesome than before. I am so anxious to come out this friday for putting my parts onto my car too. I got so many parts laying around right now .. haha

Yep, my bad. I though it is turbo-charged thro :P
It features an updated 3.2-litre VR6 engine of that fitted to the previous Mk4 version, with an extra 10 PS (7 kW; 10 bhp) courtesy of a reworked inlet manifold. Maximum power is now 250 PS (184 kW; 247 bhp) at 6,300 rpm; torque is unchanged at 320 N·m (236 ft·lbf) but comes in 300 rpm lower down the rev range at 2800 rpm. It reaches an electronically-governed top speed of 250 km/h (155.3 mph). Going from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) will take 6.5 s, reduced to 6.2 s with the Direct-Shift Gearbox.

We had an '05 GLI a few years back which I traded in for my Evo and ever since, she's held somethin against me, so I'm now out of that dog house!!!
Yeah, I thought they were turbo as well until I asked where the turbo was housed
.
Revo ftw! When I had my 1.8T, I was one of the first in N. America (Drove to Canada to get the flash) and I absolutely loved it. A friend and I went in on a SPS-3 (before they had map switching) and life was grand!
