Well...looks like the Evo is staying boys! Haha...after a long hard look at the financials as well as the pros/cons, my business analysis and my speed racer analysis both tells me to keep the Evo. I love the 335i's luxury but it's no where near as fast as the Evo unless I spend more money (which I didn't want to in the first place) and it would stretch me too thing financially in this economy.
I decided to keep the Evo but unfortunately already started parting out some of the stuff so my CWEST/Voltex combo is gone
I should have waited a bit longer before the part out but that's ok. I got a 9 bumper and I bought another CS lip so it'll look like before with the whole CS lip kit. After driving a Nismo 350z, 370z, 335i, and a Lotus Elise - nothing really comes close enough to the Evo in terms of looks, performance, and functionality to justify selling the Evo.
This marks my 3rd time coming close to switching cars so I don't think it'll happen again - the Evo proves her worthiness every time

Sounds like some interior modification is in order then? Suede covered dash perhaps?
Anyhow, glad to hear you are keeping the Evo. Even though I have never spoken with you, I have seen the car many times and I have to say I love the look.

Any feedback on the 370z and the lotus elise? Those are two cars I was considering purchasing in the future. What did you think of them? thanks

You know whats funny I was in the same place. Already parted out some of my parts which was a mistake...oh well. Drove all those cars and a C6 vette. Liked the Nismo 350z alot but thought it was slow. Really loved the vette with the power and handling. I think it would just be way to much off a hassle to sell the evo right now after watching the market for a few weeks. Plus its nice being able to take 3-4 ppl out with you put some rafts in the back and bunch off stuff and take a road trip. Nothing I drove though had the steering feel. Their is just something about the handling of the evo that exudes so much confidence it just makes it fun to drive. I've wanted to sell it but I just can't get myself too...
I honestly think the Nismo Z is a lot about looks - it's a nice car and you can fit some nice wheels on it! I had 19x11+17 Work Meisters on my Z before. But I left that platform already and don't want to go back to another Z. The interior is lacking on that car and I'm not kidding. The Lotus is a toy - literally. It feels nice but it's slow and definitely too "fragile" I'd like tobe surrounded by metal - not fiberglass. The 370z is nice but not right for me, though it has some nice power and definitely a step up in build quality from a 350z. The 335i is the best choice but it would put me about 9-10k more in debt and that's just not smart - thank God it's the rational Alvin speaking here.
