Another "English Racing is awesome" thread

I had my car tuned at ER yesterday morning. I only had a small window of time that I could make it over to Vancouver and Lucas accommodated my schedule, which I appreciate. Lucas tuned my old Evo and did a great job then as well.

I made about 344 hp and 323 tq at a hair under 24 lbs. with a cheapo ebay exhaust, some ugly no-name licp, ETS intake, and mbc. Not bad for under $700 it total mods! Lucas thought I could have made more with a boost spike but my clutch started to slip.

I am a firm believer that companies should treat their customers well as it is their customers that allow them to stay in business. It seems like a lot of companies, especially in the modified car business, forget this basic principle. Needless to say ER gets another thumbs up for providing great service.

Well unfortunately I think a new clutch might be required within 30 days, so that will take up all my modification money. Now if it would stop raining for 5 minutes I could take the car out and have some fun with it.

MOAR POWA!!!!!

I just got mine ER tuned last weekend. I will probably accumulate parts then get a Reflash from ER. Ill get an air filter and upgrade all the piping. I told myself I was going to take easy for now. Plus the evo just hit 30k so Ill have to get it serviced.

Whats next for everyone? :P

For me, I need a mini battery kit, pipes, fuel pump and injectors.

Have to get the mini battery kit because the pipes I want wont fit with stock battery. =(

heyyy john, dont spend a lot on the battery kit. just get the mini battery for like $90... and as for the mount, just modify the stock one to fit a smaller battery! that way you spend about half of what the kits go for. i've seen it in eric's car (jdmevil).

as for the pipes (intake, lower and upper intercooler pipes), i need to research on which one to go for. injen has the kit for about 4 bills. ive heard nothing but great stuff about the perrin filter too..

ExtremePSI has the Injen kit for about $335 if it's on sale still. LICP kinda sucks but the rest of the kit is good. Wouldn't mind the black piping myself.
