I think you want the pastel blue Swifts, they are the Spec-R's. And a ride in daniels's car did help me decide, they are amazing. My suspension consists of the swifts on stock bilsteins and an agency power rsb, complete night and day from stock.

Next up for me: AMR coils

^how much are the AMRs again? They don't seem too badly priced IIRC.

1850, but call Andy @ AMR for pricing, as I could be wrong... ;-)

I thought that is what I remembered seeing as a price - sub $2k. That is a great price, seeing the praise these coilovers get.

For just a touch more you can get Robispec KW's that I bet has superior valving. For the price they look built very well...internals is where it counts though. Wouldn't mine seeing some long term testing at the roadcourse...I don't know too many other people that have them.

Having said that I almost bought I set but the lead time was a bit longer than I hoped.

Doesn't Aaron run these, as well as one of the Rally drivers down in Vancouver (Scott)? Or was that a different brand?

They do I believe. Has either one of them posted results from road course events? The rally guy would definately test their durability though.

I am running Robispec KWv3's with 8k/9k springs (clubsport). jid2 also has them, but with stiffer springs. I've only had them on for about 6 months and 1 track day. So far, I really like them, and 8k/9k works fine on the street. While I can't yet speak to their durability, they have a good reputation.

Big question is whether you need coil overs at all - I probably don't, but couldn't resist! If you're going to spend the $ for coilovers, get something decent (= not cheap).

Yep, just let me know. BTW - Monroe is further North than Mountlake Terrace. Do you work on Wed nights? We all meet at Uncle Jack's, usually. Or on your way to/from Steven's sometime? Or, just let me know and I could likely meet you sometime.

evo 9 mr bilsteins

Hey i just wanted to ask a quick question i believe i already know the answer to, but will the evo 9 mr bilsteins fit onto my 03 evo 8? I was looking at buying them but wanted to make sure they would work before i did so. Also has anyone put the tein s-techs on these and if so please tell me if they are a good team or not?

Thanks in advance!

They sure will and most people put Swift springs on Bilsteins and stay away from Teins.
