little help, intakes, bov, pass through?

Hey guys i need a little help. I have an 06 mr, and when i bought it it had the turboxs RFL bov that is currently set up to vent to air. I am looking at getting the perrin intake and im not sure how well this bov is going to work with it, i want the least amount of issues it being a daily driver. I was looking into pass through maf systems but don't really want to spend the money on it. should i ditch the turboxs and just buy a recirc bov?

I don't currently get any of the symptoms of running VTA, it doesn't stall or run funny, so im not sure what direction to go. i just want good reliable power, and nothing crazy loud.

Do yourself a favor and just invest in a decent recirculating BOV that can hold some good boost. That way you will have room to expand your power down the road and also will avoid all of the stalling and drivability issues that a VTA gives you before they happen.

APS twin vent. It drives nice without bucking and surging and holds boost.

Just get a stock IX BOV if you don't care for sound. They hold awesome and will have no driveability issues

I finally got my HKS SSQV put in, so I now have my stock one available. Anyone know the going rate for the stock BOV from mine?

IX bov with crush mod, or APS. I have an APS for sale, but it might be spoken for by Keenan.

Don't crush, get a leak stop from Dejon.

Suppose to hold boost and drive like stock without issues that come with crushing a bov.

But a stock DV has its limits, make sure you know your goals before hand. Spending money twice for the same part sucks.

Dan can tell you about that.... I kid, I kid.

I love you Dan.

Sheeyoot, at least I usually buy low and sell for a decent return. Also, I'm running all the parts I've bought! <cough>2.4L crated in your basement</cough>

The worst was going from Red to Black. I think I lost ~$250.
