Good BBS's with good tires are going for about $8-900 not $1300. I have yet to see a set with brand new star specs on them. All I have seen so far is some with curb damage and some not so great tires so far. So Im not so sure what exactly the purpose of your post was? Or am I all effed up and read into it wrong?

Thats about what I what I was thinking. The Volks are roughtly $600-650 per wheel, the tires were $450, and the Rays lug nuts were $160. Id rather get some fno1rc's over the BBS's but Im trying not to be super picky. Does this seem out of line to you guys? I dont buy and sell wheels often.

^Johnny isn't into trading? Minh is the only other one I know running FN01RCs, but I'm not sure he is into dropping that much money on wheels, especially since the 5Zigens do him well for AutoX.

John just powder coated his gloss black and they look awsome plus I think he literally just did new tires. You really dont see many of them in the for sale section these days tho thats for sure. I like the Volks there just to flashy for me and I am daily driving my car now and I dont want to damage them if I can help it, Id rather just have some less expensive wheels and some cash if possible.

I'm just curious how BBS devalued so drastically (good condition only) yet your used Volks didnt depreciate at all?
Now, I understand depreciation quite well (being an accountant) but I dont think I drink enough at work to understand how your straight line depreciation alters so drastically between like items.
And for the record, I have pretty good condition SE BBS rims with Star Specs that have 1.5K miles on them (with warranty from discount tire), but throwing another grand at you for the "right" to have volks with crummy tires is kinda bonkers.
Good luck with trading rims for a X!
Also, Minh has his Zigens to compete in a specific class of auto-x, he wont be able to run 18x8.5 in class.

So you can get New 18" Ce28n's for $1800? I add up my total and come up with $3k even with my "crummy" tires, and Im looking for roughtly $1800 ish for them. And you keep saying my "used" Volks, all BBS's are used also so how does that matter exactly?
