hey guys was just wondering if there was any intrest of going up to mt baker for a drive then having a BBQ at the top and just chill out for a little while the drive back. For those of you who havent been that way its a really fun drive. So thinking this sat the 4th doing this. We got a few people here local in oak harbor who are going up no matter what but i thought i woud try to get as many people as possible to make it a fun labor day weekend. just let me know if there is interest and ill go from there.

I may be interested as well, what date are you guys thinking? if it falls on my of my days off im game.

 

Plan: thinking we can meet up at bestbuy in burlington about 8 8:30.
take highway 9 to baker its the backway up. its about a good 2hr drive there lots of twisty turns . Have a BBQ up at the top people and snap some awesome pictures as well. you can bring whatever they want to eat or we can have a list made of what people will bring. if anyone has some mini BBQs bring them.

Date: this saturday sept 4th.

Sounds like the drive will be fun. I might have to drive myself on this one instead of relaxing and playing photographer in Shane's car. I did the Deception Pass run myself last year, so it was no biggie to ride shot gun this year.... but this sounds like I'll want to drive.

I know..... I debated that cause I've never gone on it, but this one is closer to home and we still have puppies in the house.

 

i saw that hood run but thats a little far this weekend and then i got to work on my car the rest of the weekend need to put my new springs and retainers in along with my s2's and then paint my calipers.

But the baker drive i would say drive yourself. it will be a fun spirtted drive up.

 

I might go. I would like to do HRR, but that is a long haul, especially considering it is Labor Day weekend (lots of traffic). I'm not sure though; I need to do some work on the car and I might do that instead.

 

hmmm, well if danny and shaner are gonna go, maybe I will go on this one instead! HRR is a friggin commute for even me! do u guys wanna meet up somewhere like maybe dan? I will be coming through maybe meet in woodinville or something??
im sure I could find some peeps to go! not sure what the old man is up to this weekend.

For dan, Shane, or Angie, meeting in woodinville is a 10+ mile drive in the wrong direction lol.

If I don't work Saturday, I'll come. That road is a BLAST!
