I want Chris Rado's car
Well at least he passed the civic. I hope the mag came up with the title and not the crew that built the car. I'd sooner call an LF-A an Evo killer than that purpose built, one-off, beast of a car.
I'd still take it seeing as I appreciate the immense amount of engineering and R&D involved but still at the end of the day it's a scion body? With that much money involved I would have chosen something a little more "upscale" to say the least.
Too bad the thing has yet to put down a good lap at an event. He was basically putting around Miller in that video. Lots of crap to sort out in a build like that. Maybe it will be going better this coming year.
When I was in LA doing the Evo x testing we swapped a tranny at Rado's shop and I got to see that car in person. That car really is a work of art. (as is the drag scion-fastest FWD in the world)
Awesome guys to boot.

We partied with them at BOTI in Woodburn one year. The whole crew is very chill, not into themselves, just there to do work. I have seen the opposite in other teams in the past, but Rado/crew are top notch. They even took the time to explain some stuff when I started asking informed questions.

Sick car and Im sure that was just a testing session, but overall Id say it was some pretty poor driving. The car was never pushed, never loaded the turbo, and just seemed to use power in longer straights to catch up to the civic.
Could have just been getting use to the car or doing reliability testing though.. Who knows..
