Let's talk aesthetics shall we?
What's up fellas? (and ladies). The time has come for me to move away from the stock Evo VIII look, and onto something grander. However, I'm building for budget so voltex is out of the question (unfortunately). I have a kit in mind:
http://www.carid.com/2005-mitsubishi...lex-80185.html
I think it looks sharp, and to have it shipped to my house is only like $510.00 which is pretty good i think, considering it comes with front bumper, rear bumper, and side skirts. However, I've only started shopping, but that is the one that has caught my eye so far. So I've come to the experts (and those who think they are lol) to ask for some other places to look. Or suggestions into brands?
I also have a question...
It says that "some shaving, and cutting may be required to fit the body kit to the car." How extreme is this? If anybody has ever purchased a body kit from a website as a whole, does it come with instructions on where to shave/cut/etc? I've never installed one, and I wouldn't want to drop half a grand just to ruin it ya know? So if anybody could shed some light on this I would appreciate it. I'm kind of mechanically retarded.
I appreciate any info in advance,
-Tim
P.S. Feel free to share your opinions about body kits, post links, pictures...hijack the thread or whatever...I'm here to learn.
P.P.S. on a side note...if anybody wants to help me install a boost gauge this weekend...I'd be forever in your debt...lol

Im honestly not a huge fan of any body kits or such...A nice clean CF lip and a JDM rear IMO looks the best on these cars. You can get a good looking polyurethane lip for like $100 (I have it on my car cause I would **** the **** out of a cf lip) and as for the jdm rear, good luck lol
This was an old one I had. I now have a Do luck style (the front is rounded and doesnt have the front corners sticking out as much) I believe that one was 125 shipped.

^^That is the one I currently have and the fitment is perfect. Even came with the screws and it is simple to install

I say do an JDM VII/VIII rear end, not seen as often but IMHO super clean, paired with a front lip of your choice and a nose chop and you have a great looking car. Then you can always add CF side skirt extensions etc.. later on

That's my favorite look. Good CF lip, side skirt extensions (either abs or CF), and rear bumper extensions (either abs or CF)
