HIDs wouldn't work they take too long to warm up, plus there are two 250watt bulbs on the nose wheel, that is bright as hell and blinds you when they forget to turn it off once they line up with you.
Was kidding on the 12000k HIDs. Those would be violet, and not provide as much usable lumen output for the pilots:

Thats stupid. At the beach, theres no need for abe, abh, abf. Line rats can do it all. Im not going fts, jus simply drilling reserve...if i can do it in colorado, if not, not joinng reserves

Probably can, just don't get attached to my command lol (we send our P-3s out to Colorado Springs to pickup SELRES). ABEs are needed on land lol, they maintain the arresting gear on the runway.
