I finally did it! Took my red deep into the 11's.
 

So I have been trying for a few months now to get my Evo into the 11's. It has been raining so much lately, I really lost out on a lot of practice this year. I know there are tons of Evo's in the 11's but this is special, it's my first time in the 11 second club. :lol: I ran the best 3 times of my life in a roll. 11.9, then a 11.78, and finally my last run I did a 11.53 at 122mph. The car really liked that colder air as it got later into the night. My previous best was a 12.01. Next goal is to get a 11.49, get kicked out, so I'll have to build a cage. {thumbup}

Hope to see some more Evos out here at Pacific Raceways. Seems like lots of guys with good power but nobody is racing. :crap:

Yeah it was! I'm happy about it. I definitely learned from that run how a decent lauch and fast shifting can get you some good times. And you should definitely go faster! :D

Yeah I just need to do the cams/valve train/ injectors, and retune and I should be there.

Congrats man. feels good to finally hit a big goal huh. your a 60' away from a 11.1 -11.2 man. next time out hit the 1/8 a few time to gage your 60'. If you start hitting good 60's and 7.0-7.2 in the 1/8" give it hell man. Id hate to see you get the boot for a 11.49 lol. make it count man.
