Anyone have a hook up on Sony TV's?
I'm looking to get a 46" Sony LED LCD TV and I thought I'd give the NW section a shout to see if anyone gets deals :) {thumbup}

slickdeals. net/permadeal/40727/46-sony-kdl46hx800-240hz-3d-led-backlit-1080p-lcd-hdtv-bdps470-3d-bluray-player-3d-transmitter-2-pairs-3d-glasses
delete the space between the slickdeals. and the net lol this might help, just looking out |
Or just go to best buy and barter with the sales guy and say that wallmart will give you the tv for $520 or what ever the price of the tv is go $100 less. Worked for me on a 32" 1080 p 120 htrz (I paid $530 out the door-tv was priced at $650 + tax)

Video only has a pretty good deal.
|
Or I'll be sorry? :D
The slick deals site was amazing. Thanks for the link. Unfortunately the TV that they have the hook up on is the 3D TV and that stuff messes with my eyes. I'll check out Video Only and the other link :) Thanks guys. {thumbup} |

I shop at Best Buy, u can barter with them like Lancer XI1 said.
My last TV i bought at COSTCO Actually they had a pretty good deal. |
Yeah I found the TV I wanted at Costco... its 800 or 900 IIRC. I think I'll try and beat up the Best buy guys for a deal.
|
Frys in Renton man, WAY better prices than Best Buy.
|
i have a friend who works at a warehouse thing and can get deal, pm me and ill see what i can do.

slickdeals-dot-net is pretty buh-dass. You usually have to keep up on it like a hawk to get good deals (the best deals go quickest), but sometimes you can luck out.

Personally for the price and the reviews I would purchase a 50in or larger Panasonic plasma. They may not have the appeal of the the LED TV but they are arguably the best picture quality you can achieve albeit a Pioneer Kuro. Black levels are better as is the color depth. Both my father and myself have fairly dedicated home theaters and he has the 50in Kuro and I have the 50in Panasonic (highest 2009 model). If I were to give his Kuro a 10/10 rating I would give the Panny a 9/10 rating but the Kuro was $3k and the Panny only $1700. I would also take a look at Samsung's new offerings as well. Seems their 2010+ panels have got a lot better reliability ranking, their earlier models weren't the greatest.
Is their a particular reason you are dead set on the Sony? By all means good I just think they are overpriced considering most of Samsungs and Panasonics tend to rank better. I'm not sure about their newest models though, haven't looked in a few months. Also diddo on Fry's, they have awesome deals. Usually Amazon vendors like 6ave or Electronics Expo are better though. Even Newegg tends to have good deals...which is where I bought mine. |
I searched all around and ended up getting it from Best Buy... they were able to beat all the online prices.
46" LED LCD EX7 Tv. Its nuts. I really like it. then again I'm coming from a 1980's mitsubishi TV that was maybe a 22" TV lol. So anything's better than what I had. I think of TV's like Shocks... you get what you pay for :) |
