I decided that since the weather was nice, I'd go and take some pictures of my car. I went about 10 min from my house to a provincial park so the scenery is at least nice.

I love the aggressive front end of the car.




The brakes are just massive on this thing, one rear caliper has the same about of pistons as both front calipers on my old lancer combined.

Nice looking car. Love the color. I must say the front end on the 06-07 grew on me. Enjoy the 2.5l

 

The 2.5 l is great, lots of power through all the rev ranges.

I thought the new front end was ugly too but when I saw the car I loved it, and when I drove it I wanted to have sex with it. At the moment I have no big plans in regards to upgrades, I want to get some of the SPT stuff namely the catback exhaust, the turbo cover and the radiator shroud but that's about it.

 

If I were to get a subaru, that'd be the color I'd rock.
I totally dig it. And a for a 403 car!

def love the front ends on these cars...was lookin at them befor egettin the evo, but subie didn't give a good deal on trade in...what mods are in store for the future?

 

I got a decent deal on my trade in, 6500$ for a 2003 ES with body rash, a non-functional heater knob, cracked windshield, messed up passenger side windows, and other little problems.

 

I'm going to wash my car tomorrow so I'll have more pics then. In the mean time here are some great looking WRXs that give me a bit of inspiration.

The subaru is a completely different machine, it feels slow but is shockingly fast while the lancer felt and sounded fast but was shockingly slow.
