What ever happen to... That bad **** fully built mitsu suv

A few years back there was a outlander or at least I think it was a outlander, I remember it was a SUV ,anyways one of the venders were selling it I think it was AMS. This thing had a 2.3 -2.4 stroker motor in it and it had I think a 40r turbo of some sort and I think a evo 5spd tranny. This thing was built very very well and I was sitting here wondering what ever happen to it? Does anyone know what I'm talking about? If you have some info on it sure would be cool to know what ever happen to it.. I always wished I had the money to buy it.

Is that the red suv featured in modified magazine few years back? I was flipping through some old mags and seen it one day. First I was like y is this in here then seen the 4g swap and was like wtf that thing was bad.

Yep I recall seeing that for sale on AMS's website at one point. I would love to see some videos of that thing in action. It must be a handful to drive...

Not a huge market for something like this I'm guessing. While very cool, it's not exactly practical. At that price you can get a decently modded evo...

It's cool, don't get me wrong. I just can't see spending that kind of money on an suv you can't do much with. Your not really going to want to drive it around in the snow. I think it has it's place with someone looking for money to blow. But that's alot of money to just blow to beat up on some vettes. Like I say you can grab a decent evo for that price and blow the doors off of all kinds of vettes...

Don't get me wrong I love evo's that's why we are all here but any more everyone knows what a evo is and have come to expect a fast car when you see one. But you have a suv grocerie getter that's a whole new game. And I'm not understanding the thing about the snow it's awd it will go great in the snow.
