GS-T or GSX,

times are really hard right now and gonna have to sell me evo. new baby coming and going to buy a house. Ive had it for three years and it's been a blast! the 450 doller payment are getting tough with my wife not working right now. I will have enough left over from the sale to get a dd.

there is a 91 turbo eclipse for sale but FWD, it has a fully rebuilt motor, 66 trim turbo with evo III internals , hks front mount,BOV, bc 272 cams boostin 15 psi etc... I really wanted a gsx but this will be paid for and still fun to drive. already have a 7 pass. town and contry so I just need somthing for me.

would a FWD gen 1 sound alright or should I save for gsx, I kinda need somthing now verses later and am about 1500 shy of having enough for gsx.
what do u guts think?

If you need something now, are hurting for money, and don't have enough for the GSX, the choice seems obvious.

If it were me personally, I would save the extra for a GSX cause you are going to miss the AWD if you get the GS-T. I drove a buddy's GS-T recently and was all bummed from the driving experience. Just my .02. Good luck with whatever you do!

I think the gs-t should be alright to drive around for awhile, it modded pretty good. yaeh I'll miss the AWD but I do plan to get another evo when the time is right.

I have had high HP FWD cars before, and I don't think I will ever go back to them, but under-steer and wheel spin at freeway speeds isn't cool. AWD makes it possible to really drive a 400+ hp car on the street. Also I live in Wisconsin so the weather dictates that I need AWD. If you plan on just driving the GS-T as is and not pushing the power, it sounds like a fun car, but if you can afford it I would vote GSX.

yeah the gst might be modded but, you wont even really enjoy it because the power cant be put down to the ground. well unless youre running some really good tires. i say gsx, but you say you need something now so if you REALLY cant hold off any longer than get the gst. good luck

With a baby on the way and hurting for cash, I wouldn't be buying a modded DSM as a daily. How about a '00-'03 Galant?

But if you must, then I'd go with whatever car needs the least amount of work, has the least mods, lowest miles and is the cleanest.

I don't think you'd be happy with a high horsepower FWD coming out of an Evo though, although I do love my GS-T.

i would say GSX or AWD talon bro! but coming from another DSM owner. you dont wanna wear out your gsx as your DD. A DSM is a fast as hell car but break down like no other. get something reliable bro. my eclipse is always in my garage for repairs and all haha but if you have to AWD at all times. you will miss it if you get the gs-t. not as fun anyways IMO

What is your price range? I have a fully built 1992 Eagle Talon TSI AWD that is tuned on E85 with a GT3076r turbo sitting in my nest.
