1994 RVR Sportsgear.

Just picked this bastard up.

It's a 1994 RVR Sportsgear. Stock as a rock.

It runs a Evo 3 Driveline ( 4G63T Motor, Box, AWD, brakes), but with a smaller TD04 Turbo and a Top Mount interwarmer. Rated at 206PS from factory, it's pretty fun to blast our local cars off the line, had a few random looks already.

Interior is pretty clean for something so old, but does need a lot of TLC on the body side of things.

Anyways, Anything I do to it, i'll throw in this thread.

Few dents to pop out and some rust, but I can't complain for the money I bought it for.

Pete.

I am making my own version of RVR Sportgear out of '93 Eagle Summit AWD.

As you for suspension, check out what I did using stock EVO8 suspension! I used a method already in place to adapt EVO suspension on a 1G DSM and adapted it to the Summit. You can find my project through www.ReitmanRacing.com.

Does your wagon have 5 lug wheels? How tough would it be to find a used set of rear wheel 5 lug spindles?

Yeah it's 5 stud.

Not too sure, they are the same as a nimbus uf from memory, which are everywhere.

It's pretty much a 2g dsm bottom end.

What did you mean by "bottom end"? The rear end?

Overall, these wagons are an interesting mix of 1G, 2G and Lancer/Mirage components! But their rear end geometry seems to be one of the few unique parts.

Well, we do have the AWD wagons/vans (whatever you want to call it), putting a 4G63t into one is not that difficult... So if you want one, bad enough, you can create a clone!

Done a few things, removed all the pinstriping, took the dents out, painted the bullbar.

Bit of an update.

Pulled front driveshafts out and replaced and repacked the CVs, replaced tie rod ends, replaced steering rack boots. Dropped all the oils in the drive line and replaced them all.

Put in a HKS turbo timer, and just put better wheels on it with heaps better offset ( 17x8 +35 which are bang spot on the guard. )
