Oil?

My wife had the oil in our 2013 Outlander Sport changed by the dealer and they used 5W30 Supreme (on bill) and put a sticker on the window to return in 3k miles. Do you think they put conventional oil in it? They are now closed for the holiday and I can't reach them until Saturday. I've always run synthetic, is running conventional oil now going to cause any problems?

So I checked the car's manual this morning and it only mentions 0W20. Is driving with 5w30 in it going to shorten the engine's life?

My unprofessional opinion is that you'll be fine. Doing this over and over again for a long period of time could certainly cause some problems, but as long as you don't drive it like a race car it'll be fine until you can get the next oil change.
Hope this helps put your mind to ease, & have a great 4th.
