TC-SST dct470 even gears probs (2-4-6)
Happy New Year !
I have a Citroen C-Crosser (rebadged Outlander 2) 2.2 hdi 3/2010 with 57k miles.
This car has the Getrag 6DCT470 idem as TC-SST of lancer and ralliart...
I would like to isolate the origin of my problem.
(The same of D-man, so I copy a part of his text)
In even gears, there is a delay in the rpms when im accelerating.
And when im cruising in 4th and 6th, there are times where the rpms would bounce a little (100-200 rpms) and as soon as I shift into 3rd or 5th, the rpms become steady as they should be.
I originally thought the clutch was slipping, but after testing it, the car doesn't free rev when i accelerate like a typical slipping clutch would.
2nd, 4th, and 6th gears have a slight delay in climbing rpms. Example: 3rd driving fine, half throttle acceleration. Shift into 4th. Half trottle acceleration rpms climb 2500 to 3500, half second delay, jumps up to 4000rpm.
Also, cruising in 4th and 6th rpms bounce. Example: Cruising 6th gear, 55-60mph. RPMs bouncing about between 2800-3000.
Crasy data :
With cruise control @ 2200rev @ 60mph (6th) >no bounce
Idem @ 2000rev @ 45mph (6th) > bounce
I just change tranny fluid wich was light brown iso light yellow green and the filter.
Of course : no change and NO Error reported
Is there a simple way to know if that come from clutch/seals or from valveboby/solenoid or fork ?
Any help with this is much appreciated! Thanks!!
Laurent

Hello,
D-Man answer me he does a full fluid refresh + filter and solve the problem.
I have done the same without result .... up to 1.5 month....
Yes, it takes time but it finally works for about 80€.
A dirty solenoid was probably the source of problem. finger cross
