Evoscan is just the logging program. ECUflash is what your looking for to tune, program is free but you need the cable to do it on your own. I can do fuel trims and stuff, but the mivec and CVT i dont want to do because i dont understand that side of things in the program. I will look into a shop to do mine once I get the mods done I want to.

oh ok cool, yeah I don't know anything about tuning that's why I always had it professionally done in the past.
will the shop need anything special for the tuning if they already have the cable? it is a 4b11 motor and he does the majority of tuning for the EVO's around here 8's, 9's, Ralli Art's, and EVO X's. Do you know if the cable for the Evo X will work since they both are 4b11 platforms?
Thanks again

if he tunes mitsu then they should be good, its finding a base map already decoded for the OS that he may not have. I believe they have already tuned a couple via ecuflash but i cant swear to it. my tuning laptop was put away when i got rid of my evo

What do y'all think about Throttle body spacers? Do they really have any effect on the motors performance?

I don't believe the spacer(s) will do anything to "increase" performance..
They're just moving the throttle butterfly "forward" by a few inches from the manifold, correct? For a NA motor, it's just for show & psychologicals..

Now, If we had a forced induction, then perhaps it may help - by adding a few cubic centimeters more air into the cylinders...

Speaking of add-ons.

What? That's good for -5 horsepower.. due to the airflow restrictions of the heating coils and clumps of old hair.
You're gotten way too off topic with that kind of Mod!

Now we're talking.
But.. did the alien vomit on the paint? What happened there??

Will you need custom brackets to make them fit?

The clear coat that brembo puts on there Paint always seems to do that, guess it is just from over heating

I'd turbo this thing in a heartbeat if it could be done with some factory EVO stuff.
Just wonder how we'd go about getting the ECU to work for it. Has anyone cracked this UTE's tuning?

They get the nickname BROWNBOS because of the overheating clear coat turning a brown color... Lots of DIY's to fix that on youtube.
