Outlander Sport : Side Mirrors w/ LED signal markers (Auto Folding)

SubtleStyle posted a question about side mirror caps with turn signal lights built-in, LINK (Post#14)

Which got me curious and this is the most "integrated system"/units I found - LED turn markers built-in AND auto folding! VERY Cool !! (BUT, they are for the Lancers...)

Does anybody have these on their Lancer and if they might photos of the mounting area/brakets so we can see if they may fit/replace our O.Sport side mirrors.

Hmm.. damn!
I see...

Does anyone have an old (abused) Lancer side mirror housing/unit they're willing to give up to be Frankensteined..?

I would try and swop out JUST the mirror housing and leave the the (corner window) base-mounts > keep the portion that's attached to the windows currently and just re-attach the mirror housing to them. Would THAT be feasible?

it could be possible - there's a chance the shots were taken at different angles and the bottom edge looks similar but that top bevel between the mounting plate and the mirror housing looks to be of a different shape.

Interested in what you find though!

yeah..
Wished there wasn't the need for any drastic modding for those auto-folding side mirrors... it would have been sweet if it was just straight drop-ins.

As I know, you can buy this thing from China for the outlander sport. I think they are the same ones from the bigger outlander. but wiring it is a pain. You also need a new controller panel for adjusting the mirrors that has the power fold button.
